Anti-Bribery Statement
The top-level management and Directors of IPS Ultraprint Ltd t/a Printed in Gsy are committed to preventing bribery by persons associated with it and wish to foster a culture within the organisation in which bribery is never acceptable. It is our policy to conduct all of our business in an honest and ethical manner and we are committed to acting professionally, fairly and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships.
A bribe does not have to involve the exchange of cash and bribery does not just affect bribes to or from public officials, but also includes bribes between private persons or businesses. Bribery may involve facilitation payments or “kickbacks”. Printed in Gsy does not make and will not accept these types of payments. Facilitation payments are typically small, unofficial payments made to secure or expedite a routine action.
This formal statement is made to establish an anti-bribery culture within the organisation.
- We have a commitment to carry out business fairly, honestly and openly alongside a commitment to zero tolerance towards bribery.
- The consequence of breaching our policy for all staff is severe and may result in dismissal and can also carry a prison sentence.
- Those dealing directly with customers should avoid doing business with any customers who do not commit to doing business without bribery as a ‘best practice’ objective. The business benefits of rejecting bribery enhance our reputation as a trustworthy and compliant business. Should any of our staff be offered bribes or incentives that go against this statement they can speak to the Directors in confidence. All employees and business partners are assured that they will not suffer any adverse consequences for refusing to take part in bribery or corruption, or for reporting suspected business wrongdoing, including bribery.
Sponsorships or Charitable Donations
We may from time to time make charitable donations and sponsorships when appropriate to do so. There must be no conflict of interest in making the charitable donation or providing the sponsorship and they must not be made when they could be perceived as unduly influencing a business decision or activity. Charitable donations must be made only for philanthropic purposes and should be of no financial or other benefit. Sponsorships must only be made for business promotional objectives. Any sponsorships must be approved by a Director, prior to the commitment of sponsorship being made.
